Gap Inc has been on a journey to transform their legacy point-of-sale systems with state of the art technology stack over the past couple of years. This session will present a case study and share some insights on how they built a highly redundant transaction processing system that processes millions of transactions at the edge and migrated many of the workloads to a hybrid cloud.
