As more objects connect to the internet, the industry expects two orders of magnitude more data created every year at the Edge. This influx of Data demands a modern distributed architecture away from traditional cloud computing for cost, bandwidth, and latency requirement purposes. Applications built on top of the infrastructure will be distributed in nature and built for scalability and autonomy. This session aims to present a taxonomy of the components of these new applications and how they will work together.
