Veit is the Product Owner of the BMW IoT Platform, where he is responsible for the development of scalable shopfloor connectivity solutions. With his team he created the BMW Edge Platform, providing targeted software modules for the heterogeneous challenges in manufacturing. While this is currently rolled out globally, he also contributes to the IoT/Edge connectivity working group in the Open Manufacturing Platform (OMP). This presentation will discuss the platform and learnings from its deployment.
